About Me:
When I joined the staff of The MIHS Islander, Mercer Island High School's independent student-run newspaper, I was a 4-foot-11 freshman with a passion for the Seattle Seahawks.

Four years later, having grown eight inches and served as the Sports Columnist and Sports Editor, I am now the Editor in Chief.

Sportswriting is my passion, but there isn't a story that I do not enjoy writing. I also love taking photos, designing print newspapers and editing other articles to help my peers become the best journalists they can be.

When I'm not hunched over my laptop in my newsroom, you can find me running cross country, skiing, playing saxophone and yes, watching the Seahawks.
